Good job on exposure for this shot, though I'm not sure the framing really works for me. While the planes are certainly noticeable, the Bud Light sign on the right is what seems to catch my eye the most.

quite nice. if only the others had cleared out and he flipped up the page for you. his expression is great. the overexposed tassle is distracting. still a nice story shot. i would have given up photographing everything else to get this shot...that's why i don't do this for a living ;) Looks like a fairly close lense...what about walking over and asking him to help set up the shot for you?...not that I've got that kind of gumption.

cool shot. here's where I would hope I would be able to separate journalism from a tremendous shot and safely center him in the frame and then photoshop out anything on the left that might have caused your odd crop. your well done dof is quite the nice match for the stamp tool. more straight on and it would seem he's conducting the entire mass of students.
