Father, Why Have You Forsaken Me?by paganiniComment by myqyl: Interesting shot... I'm not sure it's relevant to the challenge, but it's interesting... From the title (the only way I made any connection at all) I assume this refers to the Crucifixion of Christ. But I'm not sure how this relates to the 7 deadly sins. On the technical side, the sepia worked well, but the lighting seems harsh in some-places and nonexistent in others. The hand looks entirely too relaxed as well... The hand should be gnarled in pain... My biggest problem with this, is the apple (if that;s what it is) on the nail. If this is suppose to relate somehow to the fruit Adam and Eve had a run in with in the garden, then I'm lost as to how it's suppose to relate to any either the crucification or the 7 deadly sins. Thought provoking, good effort. ~MyQyl~ |

Father, Why Have You Forsaken Me?by paganiniComment by Marsha: Wish it weren't cropped so tightly so that I could see the entire hand. I can't figure out what the round item is. It looks like an apple. If so, then I am missing the whole point. |
