Technically, this shot is very good: Nice and sharp, good composition and color, but to me it lacks the human element that accompanies the idea of education. It almost has a vacation shot feel to me. Maybe including a person in the photo would have helped.

AWWW! Sweet image. Something about the closeness. I wish the barn were a bit blurred to create a bokeh effect, but still, the focus and clarity of mother and colt is lovely.

Hey Shel, I'm very impressed with your portfolio! Alos very curious where your taking all of your wildlife shots, they look amazing! Your composition here is very nice! I only wish that you could have posted the full version so we would be able to see a bit more detail in her face. I love the use of DOF here, all around i really enjoy looking at this one! Wish the little piece of wood in the mid right could be moved, but i really wouldn't expect you to go and move it ;-)
