I am giving this entry a 5 while my average vote is a 6. My reason has nothing to do with the subject matter. I think the focus needs improvement and the stark white background is unnatural and distracting. I do like the composition/placement of the flag in the frame. Good luck.

Good concept but feel you didn't take advantage of working with the negative shapes..ie the black. Take a look and you will see there isn't much of a size change in them or direction. This hurts the compositions "intrest" so it has to be made up by other aspects of the shot. The surface of the Chicklet is so smooth it would be hard to get a good color value change out of them to creatively be making up for it that way.
