i was watching something yesterday .. an interview with alex ferrari .. or whatever his name is .. and they were talking about newborns . and how the guy he was interviewing was saying when his first child was born he looked his baby's eyes and saw a depth of knowledge and wisdom which he was quite unprepared for .. the veil hides that knowledge and wisdom .. and then we have to find it again ... bit of a shit really .. ;)

I like the lines leading from left to right to the ferry. Colors appear a little flat to me though (no doubt the overcast conditions). I like it.

As someone who really wants to produce nice woodland photography, I appreciate this photo is a lot more difficult than it looks and you've done a great job finding a composition which frames the trees beautifully and has a sky which compliments everything. Well done!
