Great concept. The lighting leaves a little to be desired though. The skin tones of the hand don't quite look right and the cut out kid doesn't match the rest of the shot. Shoot this indoors where you have more controll over the light and you could really make this pop!

Now we know what really happened to "Mike Tevee" from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (just kidding). I like the idea and the setup. The boy seems a little bit flat, but I still like the illusion. Well done.

'8' - Good illusion, just somehow sharper on the 'little one', make it better in my opinion. Nice 'set'.

This is a superb idea ... but I can't see how this is possible without moving or copying major parts of image/s ... Further - the boy does look as if he was dropped-in using Photoshop -yes? .. Oh my God!... am i a crazy fool? ... Turns out that this was a great, simple technique - I wasn't letting my mind leave the box! I do think a Photoshop expect could have made the boy/hand connection more real in post-process - but great ideas!

I love the single claw and the statement it makes as sort of an "alien" type prehistoric being, but to me it is still slightly out of focus. The lighting and composition is excellent I hope this is helpful.

Just came across this comment. You are absolutely right and very helpful. Thanks a bunch.

GReat idea! Nice highlights in the moss. The little man seems just a touch blurry and maybe just a bit too small. Great work though

You're kidding me. 4.6? I think it's a great photo. I would have been your third 8.
