I think the background in this shot is excellent. The gradient made by the light is superb and highlights the flower perfectly. Everything else is great too, focus, composition, blah blah. Almost like it for the fact that it looks like a failure with those drooping seeds.

lighting again, very cool. love the stony appearance of all items in the pic. and the skull guy just seems happy to be there - you caught him on a good day.
