Love the one "out of place" seed, in my mind it makes the shot...along with the spot on lighting and processing.

I think that you captured the detail really well here and even though it is a tad cliche its a great photograph and the techinque was done very well

A dandelion shot in B&W!??!?! HOW COULD YOU?!

hehe. Seriously though, It's kind of cool how you took this one on the side where it's opened up and bare. That's not your usual fluffy dandelion angle.

Oh.. and you have a line growing out of it :P

I took some pictures of these yesterday and thought about using one. They came out ok but I didn't think that they looked that good in B&W. Good to se yours did.

i like the variation in the lighting from the left to right side of the flower. very nice dof and sharpness.

And the world will not see yet another floating dandelion seed. The horror!

I think the background in this shot is excellent. The gradient made by the light is superb and highlights the flower perfectly. Everything else is great too, focus, composition, blah blah. Almost like it for the fact that it looks like a failure with those drooping seeds.
