Wow, this might work as the winning entry for the minimalist challenge. Oops, wrong challenge. I love the echoes; sea and sky, ship and plane, green and blue, black and white. And I love their spacial arrangement.

talk about bad timing...this would have been excellent for the minimalist challenge! as is, it is nice enough, but not really interesting enough to rack up the points in a free study. don't get me wrong--this is a nice image, but it doesn't really have that wow factor that is good for an extra point or two. good luck!

Another fine photograph. ther seems a lack of sharpness/focus around the horizon - well, that ship/whatever - perhaps a little close work with the clone tool could have tidied up the edges of it. Great balance of it and the little con-trail though. Good vision, and good shooting.
