An excellent flower study, that I would have rated a 9 (not 10 for the too bold border) under any other circumstances; superb DOF and tones, petals don't blend with the bright, clear background; interesting crop taht creates a nice gradient from bottom right to top left. Unfortunately the whole picture is too crisp to meet the challenge. My lower vote shouldn't hurt your score, though, as we all know the majority of voters doesn't care for the challenge topic - good luck! Added to favs.

Oouuh! Tough exposure on this one: really pale sky with a dark FG. You still managed to get good tones all around, the composition is A1 but the image lacks a bit in "crispness" and detail.
