Personally I wish the candle was a more prominent part of this shot. There are a lot of technical aspects that I really like but the composition just doesn't resonate with me as a shot depicting peace. It's like the fingers are overwhelming somehow and I don't know how they connect with peace as much as the candle does.

The detail in the hand is beautiful, the black and white medium was a good choice. I also like how your subject fills up the whole picture and the horizontal lines do a good job at leading my eye inward.
