If you had only the front end of this thing and not the back of it, I think it would look better. Don't cut it, whatever this is, but put cardboard or paper behind it, and shoot it that way. You won't have many shadows in the back, but I like cleaner photos :)
I checked your page, photos look very nice. You do have a style, develop that and you might be one of kind.
Keep up the good work, and practice without mercy :)
