Ah, family life LOL! Very cute idea, and in my experience a lot of Internet memes are much like this in being somewhat snapshotty in appearance. Easier to believe things are real that way, and not the product of some Photoshop wizard's manipulation. That said, I'd still prefer the background a bit blurrier from a photographic perspective, but that won't affect my vote.

Ha! Vadering and in the hands of a kid is just dangerous:-) Love the addition of the detail of the boy wearing a Star Wars t-shirt. Expressions are great and add to the composition. I do have one critique and that is if the title is going to explain what is going on then you'd best have all the elements in the composition. There is nothing IN the photo itself to show the lack of cookies - we have to rely on the title more. I think if you had shown an empty cookie jar resting on the counter it would strengthen the scene in the photo.
