Tune upby mariegbeveComment by orussell: With the right light and composition this could be a great subject. Natural light, camera on a tripod, with longer exposure, shot on more of an angle, would work much better. To me it looks like it was shot at fairly close range, with on-camera flash, going by the bright spot at the top. Hope this helps. |

Yellow in actionby mariegbeveComment by Gatorguy: The concept is great. If you had a better location and a more straight on perspective, you would have had something here. |

Yellow in actionby mariegbeveComment by gaurawa: the background is not good for a shot like this.. and as you see taking this indoors, forces you to use flash .. and looks likeyou are using on camera flash which doesn't give required results. You might like to take it outside with some green grass and the sky and you won't even need flash there and more clarity in the photo in general |

Lucky braceletsby mariegbeveComment by alien2thisworld: Cool bracelets, though they don't seem to look good in this setup. I think that taking them off the arm and maybe arranging them on a table or other surface with some interesting lighting would show them off better. The focus looks just a tiny bit off on the close sides of the bracelets too. |

Lucky braceletsby mariegbeveComment by Bibliophile: This would be greatly improved by having the hand involved in some sort of action, not simply hanging there. I'd try using this pretty arm and a large masculine arm in an arm wrestling contest. That would add action, irony and a create a nice diagonal line around which you could compose a solid photograph. Also, entering an out of focus photo is a sure recipe for a very low score. |

Lucky braceletsby mariegbeveComment by bananashay: A compositing other than dead-center would be more interesting, and you might want to experiment with different lighting, this is pretty harsh and made a distracting shadow. |
