Springtime at the Farmby grandmarginalComment by cpanaioti: I believe you've chosen a good subject however I get the feeling that the colour was adjusted here. The sky seems to be a weird lavender and the barn seems to be pink. Also, even though it appears to comply with the rule of thirds there is too much sky and possibly too much field in the foreground. It may work better as a panorama.

Springtime at the Farmby grandmarginalComment by Tranquil: This is a place with potential. I think that you have made the most of your conditions there, but try returning when there is a dark and moody sky, just after a storm with clouds and such. This will add much more impact. In this shot, the sky is bland and boring and it takes up literally 1/4 of the photo, so in that regards, 1/4 of the photo is losing its interest due to the uneventfulness of the sky. Sorry to roast, but my other criticism is that the barns have been overly dodged. But don't be disheartened! Get back out there, brave the conditions, and shoot again! |

Untitledby grandmarginalComment by ClubJuggle: Brilliant work on an excellent photograph.
While the blowout area on the forehead adds to the shot, I think it is a little bit too big. If you accomplished this in post-processing, could you back off the levels a bit to give a touch more area of detail there?
Again, well-done. One of the best photos I've seen here recently. |

Patrick 2 - Ghoulunaticsby grandmarginalComment by Jinjit: Amazing shot! By far the best of this series!!!
It's a combination of madness and heat and control.
The red tones work wonderful here and so do the soft focus.
Simply wonderful!!! |

Pat - Ghoulunaticsby grandmarginalComment by Jinjit: The kind of photo I would expect to find in the rock magazines.
Focused and contrasted well.
I would burn that little hot spot on the right side, behind the player though. It's a bit distracting.
Great work! |
