Sunday Lunchby tomlewis1980Comment by pncowley: Lighting seems just a tad harsh, the cow blends into the sky a bit. I do like your composition on this but find myself searching for the cow's eye. Nice job, though. |

chessby tomlewis1980Comment by tomlewis1980: Thanks for all the comments, very helpful! There was something I didn’t quite like about this picture when I submitted it, however I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. That is until I got my first comment pointing out that the cropping at the bottom takes away from the overall balance. Oh well I'll know what to do next time, Thanks all. |

chessby tomlewis1980Comment by Gracechild7: Interesting. I kinda like how the front and back peices are slightly out of focus, but the center peice is well focused. |

chessby tomlewis1980Comment by Paige: I like your use of selective depth of field, but think the composition could be improved. |

chessby tomlewis1980Comment by RLS: Nice example of shallow DOF... I like this ... 8 ... RLS (Some people don't realize DOF includes in front of the subject as well as behind) |

chessby tomlewis1980Comment by inspzil: Framing on this photo could be better IMO. I think this was a pretty good idea, but a little more DOF and different positioning of the focal point would be beneficial. Good luck, it is a nice image - Inspzil |
