I gave this a 9. Really liked it. Thought the dog made the shot too. The blues were subtle and seemingly all natural and I was/am fairly sure that this size doesn't do this shot justice. Taking the liberty of adding to Favorites.

What if you saturated the blues even more? Or perhaps adjusted levels? I love the sparseness and the single subject amidst the vastnes of the snow and sky. Well composed. 8

thanks for looking! this was an impromptu submission that i didn't really expect to do well. i was shooting some b&w water textures and when i was reviewing my images this one just caught my eye. it looked to me like a monkey with a helmet on, and the stick was almost like a club being held over his head...i decided just to submit with no post-processing.
the next day my computer crashed and i lost everything! luckily i had been backing up files to cd...
