September 2008 for Paul Newman.by docpjvComment by Lydia: Really cool image... I like how the black disappears into the background.
What's up with his beak? Is that black stuff normal?
That blue eye just really pops out! Lovely. |

Swatch Designs for the Real You!by docpjvComment by cools98: Fit Challenge Criteria: 2/2

Definitely a good idea, and a little more setup could really make this photograph stand out. Currently, the shadows are too dark. The photo is too busy. A shallow DOF could make this work a little better. The ring should be off-centered, following the guidelines of the rule of thirds. The object in the foreground should be removed to limit unwanted distractions. |

Swatch Designs for the Real You!by docpjvComment by Melethia: Nice use of the shells as background material, but it's actually kind of difficult to tell what the product is. It looks like a bracelet of sorts, but with glass in it, or something that distorts the stuff around/behind it. I'm also not sure what the keychain-like thing is in the foreground. I think this is a case where a bit wider view, perhaps a bit more from the top, or with the object tilted more toward the camera, might help portray your subject better. |

Swatch Designs for the Real You!by docpjvComment by Purple_Girl: The colours are really nice; the light glare on the pearly shell pulls my eye away from the product a little though, there's maybe too much going on in the background to keep the focus on the product. |
