Nice use of DOF. I like the nicely focused mouthpiece, and the soft focus body. The extra added color is nice as well. Looks like you took the shot near your christmas tree. :) The very top edge of the mouthpiece looks a tad strange. not sure if it's a reflection, or something that happened in post processing. angle and framing/cropping are great. good luck in the challenge.

I still can't figure out what I'm looking at. It's different. I like how it get lighter as you go up the photo. Just wish it started a little lighter at the bottom. Nice focus, soft and relaxing; Nice composition with good execution. Nice shot. PTL 6

This is a perfect example of the feeling blue. It illustrates cold blue better than any similar "cold" picture. I also like that its a clever "what is it " picture. After a few minutes I reliazed that it was an icemaker. You made me think, and thats not easy for me!!

I love the variances in blue in this picture. Also it is a very interesting perspective, especially with the coil, which leads your eye very nicely. Good job on not having the light too powerful. This must have been a cold picture to take! It looks a little dark to me, with little contrast, but thats understandable. Overall nice job, and good luck!
