I obviously don't know what your vision was, but for my taste, the blur is too extreme and covers too much area. The flower also appears to be squashed up against glass, giving it a less appealing look IMO.

I hope you don't get hammered too much by the "but there's almost nothing in focus" voter. I think this is a stunning image of an every-day object. I especially like the petals to the right, I wonder if this would be an even stronger shot if you cropped a bit off the top since the top left part of the image has virtually no texture or shadow to speak off.
