Tons of lion photos in this challenge for some reason, but this one's the best. This is a true portrait. I see both the nobility of the NY Public Library lions and the puffed-upness of the Cowardly Lion. He would make a good king. 9.

I really like the full frame and perspective, I think I would have scored this higher if the highlights around the mouth were toned down a bit and there were catchlights in the eyes, the dappled light is very nice too

I really like the idea and the composition. I think it would be helped a little by a few small setup modifications. If you are trying for clear water with no bubbles, try using water hat has boiled for a few minutes and then cooled... also, these shots always look good when the camera captures the water level dead on without being slightly above it... Also, a good lint free teatowel helps get the glass squeaky clean!!
