My Lovelyby KonadorComment by Rikki: I love this portrait. The shallow DOF used in this image truly enhances and emphasizes her eyes that are just utterly stunning and sharp. Lovely model and great 3/4 angle of your POV. Great job!
Edit to add: Into my faves ;) |

Majestyby KonadorComment by sherpet: I have been blown away by all the really great entries re close-ups, especially the animal shots, like this one. The light and shades are so good, as well as the textures of this majestic lion.....This is so powerful. |

My Lovelyby KonadorComment by Melethia: I'm not sure to whom the tribute is, but it's a nice photograph of a lovely subject. I'll assume having only the one eye in true focus is part of the artist's style. |

My Lovelyby KonadorComment by Rae-Ann: FOr me this is so close to great...I have a problem with the eyes...it looks as if ther has been some odd burning ... and I have no idea who you are emulating...But a lovely shot none the less |

My Lovelyby KonadorComment by melismatica: Who is this in tribute to? It seems to me the name of the photographer who is being emmulated should appear somewhere in the title since that is part of the challenge. It's impossible for me to evaluate this in terms of the challenge guidelines since I am not a mind reader. On its own, you've captured nice sparkle and color in her eyes. I don't care for the extremely shallow DOF in combination with the blown out highlights. Frankly, I don't see the asthetic value of obscuring most of the subject's features. Most of her nose disappears into her face which is unsettling. |

My Lovelyby KonadorComment by Artifacts: What makes this one of the best images in this challene is the shallow focus combined with the perfect focus on the right side eye. High technical quality. |
