This is great. Great detail in the eye...very expressive. Maybe bump up the contrast just a tad to bring out just a little more detail in the nose and mouth.

Really like this portrait. The soft edges make it for me. Tone on the face seems a little off...but not exactly sure how you would fix it since I don't do many portraits!

What a great little lizard! Looks like it was taken through glass - can see some of the dirt/imperfections on it - but that can't be helped. The only thing that is distracting to me is that it seems the focus is more on his upper body than on his head. Head seems just a little OOF. Good texture detail in his skin though and the colors came out nicely!

An interesting take on this difficult challenge. While many people seem to dislike centered subjects, I find this works well here. The focus and DOF are well executed. The only problem I see with this is the overall darkness. It makes it hard to see what you were shooting. To be honest, it was not until I read your comments that I realized what you had done.
