time to get some reading doneby camelotnorthComment by PDavis: Good contrast, the light is a little harsh on the book and a little on the arm. Maybe you should have left the stuff off the table. It is a little distracting. I like the overall feeling I get when I look at the picture though. Good job. |

time to get some reading doneby camelotnorthComment by Harz_Joerg: Like the play of light and shadows and pose of this one. Also fits very well to the challenge.
It's just too bright and also could have been improved considerablly by moving the phone and other items away and place a cup of tea or glass of wine/whisky there. |

time to get some reading doneby camelotnorthComment by lettyb: I had to come back to this photo several times to look at it. It is just a superb character study. I keep thinking how much I'd like a picture this 'real' of the people I love. Well done! |

time to get some reading doneby camelotnorthComment by dsidwell: ...until the phone rings! The phone is in such a strong position compositionally, my eyes ultimately end up switching from the man's face to the phone and back again, so I find it an ironic device considering your title. LIghting is nice, though burnt out in places--on the book, for instance, but this is a nice shot with some very interesting dynamics taking place. |
