A nice "slice of life" picture. You can see so much of this woman's life in the details around her. Nice even lighting. I'd crop in more on the left, and I'd like to see a bit more of the foreground and the xmas tree (rt) - would pull the viewer into the picture from the front, focus the composition a bit more. 8

Good colors. You created a fairly good picture of rural life. For me, the picture is too busy and is out of season(Christmas cards and decorations). I can see a wall plug right behind your subject so the title doesn't fit the picture. I do see that she is living in a pretty rustic place and you did a great job with your lighting.

Nice, appropriate folk subject. I especially like that you included the walls with the decoration - the walls add more to the tradition that you wanted to convey. The photograph overall is a little bit overexposed so maybe a little bit of saturation added in post processing wouldn't hurt.

Cute shot, you've captured her happiness (or so it seems). The bottom of the image is slightly blurry or out of focus to me, perhaps a DOF adjustment would've fixed it.
