I'm not understanding the choice of placing the flower upside down in the frame. I think that is a blur of water underneath it but that's not clarifying anything.

The visual weight is a little high for a "centered" composition. Great focus. Not sure if I'm seeing a stem on the bottom or what. But a very fine shot overall.

The challenge states that if you can identify it as an object, then it's not an abstract. I can clearly identify this, so I'm not really sure it meets the challenges idea of abstract, however, I do believe it is well done. The texture and detail are both good. Focus and clarity are excellent. And there is nothing distracting with the lighting. Overall really nice shot, just maybe not abstract enough for the challenge. ~Heather~

This shot just misses the mark for me. I would like the background a little more out of focus, not much, and I would like to see a little more of the top of the tree in the foreground. I would like to see the junction of the two branches at least.
