Many concepts go into a winning photo. What does it for me is the contrast of colors. I love the greenish hue of the water against the apple. Congrats!

Well fair enough, that is your opinion but you can never please everybody and while I appreciate your opinion on this, I respectfully disagree. I don´t think there has ever been a ribbon winner here at DPC that doesn´t get a lot of 4 and less in grades so there you go. I must admit though that several times I have given ribbon winnners "low" scores so all I can say is that fortunately different people have different tastes and it all pretty much evens out in the end.
