Good exposure, decent color and sharp focus. I particularly like how the subject is repeated in the power lines at the left. Yes, this is where the ascent to heaven begins.

I have to wonder if this is a good angle on a small object, or if this is actually one really huge cross. I think you have used "negative space" properly, and it is appropriate with the subject. Nice work and idea. For me, this would've been more effective by cropping most of the grass out, leaving a very small line across the bottom..was there a reason to leave it in. To me it is taking away the effect from the cross against the sky.
