mmmmmmm.....what work and what don't work in this photo(as my personal opinion)
work: sharpness,clean photo
don't work: the reflection on the hourglass, the red background perhaps too bright it's difficult see the border of the hourglass, the composition in the middle of the frame, not a particularry nice hourglass,the plastc look don' t work on these photos better an old hourglass if is available(ho yes probably if you had a very old hourlass the shot could be very different...)

I like this a lot. Sky makes a nice compositional contrast with the ground. Colors work well together. Lines are good. Among my favorites this challenge.
