Cement, of coarseby ScottEmmonsComment by karmat: It does have texture, and you have done well by having the "grain" move diagonally instead of vertically or horizontally, I think. It just seems a little monotonous. Maybe if you had added something that would contrast with both texture and color it would have more "grab appeal." karmat |

Cement, of coarseby ScottEmmonsComment by Kimbly: Good job of bringing out the texture in the cement. I like how you put it on the diagonal. For me, though, this picture needs a bit more interest. I think the cement would make very interesting negative space for something colored or with some sort of opposite texture. |

Cement, of coarseby ScottEmmonsComment by BeeGee: I think someone on the forum said last week that we'd see a lot of flat pictures. well, this certainly isn't one of them! I love the depth of it, looks very 3D. 7 beegee |

Cement, of coarseby ScottEmmonsComment by jmsetzler: This is definitely texture. My only problem with this image is that it lacks creativity. It's flat... no dimension... no color... no distinct subject... = 3 - jmsetzler |
