	Cement, of coarse by ScottEmmons Comment by karmat: It does have texture, and you have done well by having the "grain" move diagonally instead of vertically or horizontally, I think. It just seems a little monotonous. Maybe if you had added something that would contrast with both texture and color it would have more "grab appeal." karmat

	Cement, of coarse by ScottEmmons Comment by Kimbly: Good job of bringing out the texture in the cement. I like how you put it on the diagonal. For me, though, this picture needs a bit more interest. I think the cement would make very interesting negative space for something colored or with some sort of opposite texture.
