Feeding Her Part Time Petsby fulgentComment by fulgent: To clarify in case you don't understand this photo. They are pets but not a house pet. The picture is a candid not a snapshot.
"pet n. 1. An animal kept for amusement or companionship." There are ducks and geese at this park that are not migrating birds. They live there year around for the enjoyment of the park visitors. Some may even have clipped wings. Some I've never seen fly and I've been to the park probably over 70 times this year. They are pets (part time as titled).
I knew the story I wanted to communicate. It took me three trips and I'm sure over a 100 shots to get the CANDID shot of this little girl being kind to the ducks. Not really a snapshot unless you consider photos that a wildlife photographer who waits for the right action to occur is just shooting a snapshot.
