There is a reason why cameras on the pro circuit have there equipment up high, the fence line cuts right through your athlete. Nice color, nice light, good capture, nice comp, nice b&w, try a longer lens next time and get just the ground with the athlete and not any of the fence or the net.

Very nice composition. I like the muted colors too - although the sky is a tad blown out. Great shot for straight out of the camera. I'd have scored it a 6-7.

Very cool I just love the fact that the bee is heavily coated in pollen. Just a wonderfull shot. To boost this one a bit more I think I would like a closer crop. The bee is just so spectacular I just want to see more of it. But sometimes the megapixels just don't alow for a closer crop. Very nice shot. Great job!

Great color and composition. With two very interesting and colorfull subjects. As for improving tis image I think I would burn the background a bit. this is a vwery busy shot, and I think a little burning would help pop the subject out a little bit better.

Very well done. I just love the fact that you cauhgt this little guy eating. I do however think I would clone out the OOF water droplets that are around the catipillar. They seem to draw the eyes away from the realy nice center of interest.

Very nice use of side lighting notice how the fine fiber like grooves are visible? In a front light or an ambiant light this would not be the case you would loos a lot of the wonder texture. Each style of lighting has it's pro's and con's. Side lighting is mypersonal favorite expecialy in Macro. Very nice example of sibve lighting.

Wonderfull example of leading lines. Very subtle but there effect is undeniable. You Also followed the rule of thirds perfectly. This makes for a very pleasing shot. You spider is a bit Out of Focus otherwise this one would have scored well in a challenge. I will be going over some tricks to help with the focus in the later chapters. Nicely done.
