Great textures and colors! One of my highest rated this competition. The only thing lacking for me is the composition. The number is there right in front of you and it doesn't leave anywhere for the eye to wander - my eye wants to follow the grain of the sandstone to the upper left but is disappointed when the picture ends. This is personal preference though, so congrats on a great shot!

First off, congrats on the win! This is an excellent shot with many great qualities. First I like the feel of the background. The dark stripes with the brighter ones really have a nice feel to them. Not only do they create the nice reflection in your glass, but they give the shot depth. The glass is unique in shape and has a nice curve to it, this rhythm coupled with the reflection of the background in it draws my eye in. It is more art then photography with the refractions and curves presented. Working with light on glass is not an easily done. I did a glass shot for yellow and had some issues with mine. You have one bright spot on the neck of the glass, but not large enough to be a distraction. The thing that does catch my eye is that you may have oversharpened. You have some stair stepping on the edges of the glass. Other then that, your exposure is excellent!

I like it when a photographer creates more than just a photo, but a piece of art!
