I am not wild about the strong lighting, with the feathers being somewhat out of focus and soft looking ;( Those eyes look very real and the color is good!

I created this piece using a couple of photoshop filters on the same photo, and then layering them together. On the first I used the "Find Edges" filter, converted the result to greyscale, toned it, then adjusted the brightness and contrast so that its effect would be rather subtle. On the second I used the "Dry Brush" filter and then merged the two layers together. I hope you like it.
