Following the Yellow Stripesby JEFFJSBComment by Skip: nice idea. too bad the yellow doesn't really "pop". also, it feels a little too centered. looks a little soft; maybe could have gone out another stop or two. |

Following the Yellow Stripesby JEFFJSBComment by Azrifel: I like it how you positioned the car and how the lines lead toward it. The low angle from which you shot gives an interesting view of the car.
In my opinion the balance between top, bottom and horizon is a bit off, the horizon and subject are to centered. |

No Power Locks, No Power Windowsby JEFFJSBComment by Art Roflmao: Good subject. I am starting to think black & white is detrimental to this challenge because it ages the photo with the subject and removes part of that old/new contrast feeling. Speaking of contrast... coulda used a little more I think. I also would not have cropped that close to the top of the carriage. Seems like a good rule for this type of shot would be to crop as if someone was sitting in the seat. Lastly, I would've removed the rock(?). Hope this helps. :-) |

No Power Locks, No Power Windowsby JEFFJSBComment by Arcanist: Definitely low tech transport. Your choice of a bleaching in b/w has a positive effect on aging the image even more. It is well placed and cropped, perhaps slightly too much on the top, but this is not detracting in any way. Nice job! |

No Power Locks, No Power Windowsby JEFFJSBComment by Gatorguy: This needs something to separate it from the background. More contrast, DOF, different angle, color - I'm not sure what the solution is. As for the concept of low tech, it certainly fits. 5 |
