Sunsetby I Enjoy HamComment by SJCarter: Absolutely beautiful image. The lopsided triptych, however, is distracting IMHO, and the layers of borders are take away from the true beauty of the shot. |

Into the Sunby I Enjoy HamComment by Tammer: I like the concept, but the sun rays are a bit overpowering for me. Reminds me of the movie "Powder" (which I like by the way) |

Into the Sunby I Enjoy HamComment by Elaine: I like the idea of this picture, but to me a portrait must be more focused on the person (or animal). I am assuming you edited in the "light" but it dulled the colors so much he blended into the background. |

Into the Sunby I Enjoy HamComment by m2iw: this is an excellent idea - however, you would have done much better in my opinion by posing your subject in an open field or some area that has a better background. You may have been trying to use the sun flare as a creative element here, but I think it distracts from the image. The lighting on the subject can convey the idea of sunlight without the flare. Again, I would love to see this shot with an open background - I think it would really set the photo off. Good luck in the challenge. |

Into the Sunby I Enjoy HamComment by hideout: Don't care for the sun on the lens, especially in a member challenge, if your subject filled at least 1/2 of the frame it might work as a portrait. |
