Nice photo of the family (and I realize that it shows rock & paper), but it didn't seem to have that indescribable special quality that makes some photos stand out from the rest. Is the focus of the photo your family or is it the theme for the competition? Also, there don't seem to be many emotions captured in the faces of your subjects. I'm sure I'm coming across as overly critical - and I don't mean to be - I'm just trying to explain to you why this photograph didn't really appeal to me. It's almost like you went back through the photos you had made recently and picked this one out because you liked it and it did have rock & paper in it - not because you were focusing on any particular agenda. Sorry.
