	French Onion Soup by notesinstones Comment by rjkstesch: My eyes are fighting between the onions (sharp, in focus) and the white rim of the bowl(blurred) and the soup (soft focus). I like the concept, but the image is fighting itself. Having the bowl closer to the onions and a deeper dof might have helped.

	French Onion Soup by notesinstones Comment by Jammur: Composition and lighting are good. Color is good, the broth and carmelized onions look appealing. I like the whole onions on the the left, makes a nice balanced shot. Perhaps a bit more DOF would have helped, I don't like that the soup is just a blur beyond the crouton.
