I love this picture. I noticed your comment "This was suppose to have been one of the best places to watch a sunset, but the clouds rolled in". This is just my opinion, but I think that most sunset pictures that don't have some clouds are very boring. It seems like it would be very difficult to achieve the "WOW" factor with out them. Once again, just my opinion.

Extreme orange color, very nice against the blue. Would like to see this image with the greenery on the left moved out of the frame, although it adds DOF, it is distracting from your lovely subject. Nice job from the ground.

I just have to comment on this as I have my own "dead" file in my portfolio.
Love the dramatic pose here. I would have tried to get down on his level though and shoot from a more level perspective. Some burning to darken the ground would set more of a mood too.
