Drummerby JuneBug28Comment by strangeghost: Too many elements of his photo are out of focus and compete for attention. The apparent subject, the foreground symbol (?), is very soft too. It's difficult to tell what your intentions were with this photo, but IMO, it doesn't work. |

Drummerby JuneBug28Comment by OFreasier: I wish this shot was a little larger so we could see more detail. As it is the foreground seems to be somewhat out of focus so the whole photo blends together. I like the idea behind this though. |

Drummerby JuneBug28Comment by ahaze: The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." We see a little of that. Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Sort of. This image is small, which will lower your score. Also this is more a shallow DOF shot than a bokeh shot. |
