Nice. For playing with old lenses on your 5d, why not get a real adapter? If they're canon FD, they won't focus to infinity on canon EOS, but a lot of other brands will. Jupiter and Industar lenses will look old school, and the ones in M42 mount will work perfectly on a canon with an adapter.

You can't get very milky DOF with the (only) lens I have, or this certain look to it.

If you meant to demonstrate the effect created by the lens, then this is a very poor example. With such heavy post-processing who cares about the optics any longer - if there were any subtlety, you killed it.
