If the hand is to represent death maybe it would do so better if it was lying flat in the dirt. The light is quite hard. Good concept though.

Deep contrast, but not too many tones in shadows or highlights. Maybe less contrasty version on middle tones would work better.

Great colors here (even if a bit oversaturated). Although real, the composition and colors make this surreal. Not sure about the connection to Heroes, but the shot is great.

I love the trees at the top of the waterfall. I don't like how much space is dedicated to the dark rocks in the right of the frame. They distract from your focal point rather than enhance it. It is simply a matter of cropping. The rocks themselves would make an interesting image. There are some amazing things going on in this piece, each could stand on its own with some different framing.
