Maple Fallby bladComment by DustDevil: Awesome colors. Very subtle shading. Sort of a dreaminess to it. I gave it an 8. |

Maple Fallby bladComment by tommyd65: The green leaves came out great. The flowers look a little out of focus for being the focal point (imo). |

Maple Fallby bladComment by Zed Pobre: Pretty, almost surreal, but seems slightly out of focus. Brightening the yellow flowers also might help them catch the eye a bit more. |

Maple Fallby bladComment by Falc: Not sure what 'effect' have been applied here, but I like it, maybe a less central position for the yellow |

Maple Fallby bladComment by hopelessoptimist: I don't like whatever is going on in the green area. What's happening there? It might be a neat texture. I just can't tell. |

Thanks! Mambe, This Portrait was taken with a point and shoot camera with all it's limitations. The location was in the dungeons of a dock , next to a high school football game, the darkest place on the planet for a photographer. My object was to best capture the character of this individual.I would ask you to approach this photo as a study of a person rather than an excercise of technical expertise. thanks for your comments. PS Your self portrait is fine fine work!!! |
