I'm just crazy about this shot ! The soft focus is wonderful. At first I thought that I would like to see more light on the child's face, but after some consideration, I think that it might lose the soft dreamy quality that it has. Wonderful shot!

Hi Nards!!
Okay,

Initial: Nice! I like how my eye "wooshes" into the deepest part of the photo following the lines of the guitar strings. I like the rich natural wood tones. (Personal thing).

Composition/Technical: The composition works for me. I think it is perfectly place/framed. The colors and detail are good. I think there is a bit of over-sharpening perhaps? Doesn't look grainy or dithered, just a bit stair-stepped especially around the knobs in the foreground, and a bit on the strings. The use of DOF is excellent.

Can't say I'd do anything else to this. I would only suggest to clean up the quality.. although it isn't horrible, just not 'perfect' ;0)

I love this one! One of the best tree photos in the bunch. The filagree of trunk, branches and twigs is divine, and the steely grey/blue colour of the sky sets it off beautifully. One of my 10s.

Bottom part looks over-sharpened a little, but I kno I prefer less than a lot of people. I like the color and texture of the background (not your typical sunset photo) and the tree fits well.

Interesting combination of blues. The silhouetted tree int he front works very nicely. The angle and framing/cropping are great. The focus and clarity are good as well. Definately looks untouched by man. I really like the mixture of blues though. Good luck in the challenge.
