Amyby rayg544Comment by pixieland: You have a very nice looking model. This photo could be improved by moving her at a more interesting angle, possibly getting yourself in a position a bit higher than your model. This usually gives a more flattering angle than straight on. The depth of field is very good . The shadows on her eyes not so good. The eyes should have some light in them to bring life to the portrait. You could possible use some fill flash here, if it wasn't too bright or a better choice would be a relector to bounce the light back into her face. PM me if you need any information on this technique, I would love to assit if I could. |

Amyby rayg544Comment by briantammy: try taking/cropping vertically, see what you think, and a tripod or more steady support. |

Amyby rayg544Comment by Napalm Nymph: Background is lovely...so is her smile. It looks like a snapshot, though. Next time try to play with the crop/composition/angle. |

Amyby rayg544Comment by CalliopeKel: The lighting here was really good, but the position of the model in the shot doesnt really give it a portrait feel, but rather more like a snapshot. Try shooting your model off center next time. |

Amyby rayg544Comment by madison461: Too much background. With advanced editing, you could have done so much more to make this a more flattering shot. This is just too flat. |

Amyby rayg544Comment by AzCKelly: Very Nice shot! The only thing I would do is crop tighter so the nice background doesn't distract from her. |
