very nice composition, like the sepia tone - certainly enhances what you are trying to do, not sure about the bottom left corner - a wee bit distracting, a good idea though and certainly meets challenge - good job :)

Need some ink on that quill! ;^) Just giving you a hard time. Interesting image. Very nice approach for this challenge. Good composition. Not sure about the lighting - seems like it's a little extreme at both ends (heavy shadows top left thru middle, hot spot on the bottom left). Nit-picky I know. FWIW, I do like it. I don't know this work but a Church Spire fits the title well. You have captured lots of the fine detail here, its not a winner but a good study imho.
