In this challenge, I'd suggest to take a picture of a single leaf, because they are symmetric and look great. Also, I do not like the DOF, probably liked it if that was really shallow. Also, have a look at the Rule of Thirds tutorial. -1- |

I find the shot a little busy though, and the dark foreground leaf distracting. It may have been more effective if you could have concentrated more on one set of leaves. |

split leavesby clictacameraComment by Car54: the leaves themselves are symmetrical, but the overall photo is not. Try taking a close-up shot of a leaf or even 2 leaves in an opposite symmetrical position. |

last years weedsby clictacameraComment by happykelp: this shot almost works... it is conceptually and compositionally well thought-out... but there is something about the drab colours that does not communicate as much as it could. i would play around with the colours, layers, etc. you're on to something! |
