Almost 60by SandyPComment by TDCollins: Excellent detail, focus & composition. Fits the challenge perfectly. Nice job!(10) One other comment...I hope when I am almost 60 that I won't be considered "Something Old". :) |

Cherub Unawareby SandyPComment by coolhar: Good one Sandy, love the colors. A beautiful shot of a beautiful young girl. Her expression says innocence and curiosity to me. Don't see how anyone could think this was not 100% candid. It's too honest to be staged. |

Cherub Unawareby SandyPComment by dleach: You really like the zoo. I'm considering a pass as well (and a larger lense). Nice picture. I suspect the tight crop is what gets folks on the candid. Some sort of framing from fore ground objects can help set her off.
The lens information on the side doesn't match what you put in the description. |

Cherub Unawareby SandyPComment by Tim: Such a tight crop makes it more of a portrait than a candid - a candid needs to tell a story and so you need to include a bit of the surrounds to help tell that story. |

Playtime Outtakeby SandyPComment by olddj: Like the photo very much, but tend to agree with your assessment of it. Unfortunatly, you seem to want to try to actually fulfill the challenge too, lol, and that can cost us some points, just look how well some PLAYTHINGS did in the PLAYTIME challenge. Who is to know what the general populance will vote high?
Great capture, think it would have been a much better "candid" than playtime!
