Where I Live (2)by SandyPComment by xianart: it looks really nice. you're lucky to have such a nice place.
my man is on his way to dallas right now. i'm very envious, and can't believe i didn't get our passports done in time. he'd better bring back some warmer weather, 'cause it's freezing here! |

Captured From Another Timeby SandyPComment by NikonJeb: I had stopped by your profile just to see who you were having "met" you in the 30 Day Where-you-Live thing. The thumbnail of this just grabbed me and looking at the full image......well, it's just spectacular. This is one of the finest portraits I have ever seen for it's tangible humanity. Very superb shot. At this point, I'm thinking the score is merely an indication of how many people lost out on a timeless, classic, incredible portrait and that is in no way a reflection on you, your skill, or the quality of this excellent portrait.
Not that I like it or anything.....8>) |

Texas Music's Pride & Joyby SandyPComment by Bruce_the_Robert: Really nice choice of angles here, and wonderful view of the Hall; if I'm not mistaken, one of my favorite artists - Stevie Ray Vaughn - played there at least a few times (I'm trying to remember if this was one of his regular haunts, but my memory's not good enough to remember right now). |

My Lunch Roomby SandyPComment by Bruce_the_Robert: Wonderfully soft image, it flows so smoothly, and I don't mind the border at all (but when I recently left a border off of an image that was mostly black, someone actually left a comment asking where it was! ergh! So I can understand your reluctance to use this in a challenge, glad you did it here). I, too, would love to learn more about your post processing steps here. |

Where I Live (2)by SandyPComment by Bruce_the_Robert: The photo conveys so nicely what you've written in the text. Though I'm missing snow where I live (especially with all the dramatic snow pics in this project), I sometimes wish I had weather like yours so that I could enjoy my backyard more often, too (PS: I understand it's politically incorrect to call a dog a mutt; they're to be called "All American Breeds" -- that makes me laugh, but I used to do animal rescue work and got a yelling at more than once for calling a dog a "mutt" -- but I still do it (that's what I have) - LOL). |
