here I am again, one post behind you!!!!

you've made the water almost shimmer and sparkle.
it's like one of those pictures that change when you go side to side and make the clicking sound when you drag your nails across it.
that was a good desrciption, wasn't it :-)

And you've even captured some stars in the image.
(i know, because I thought my monitor was dusty and tried for a few moments to wipe them off!!!!)

very nice yet again.
but i expect nothing less from you.

Beautiful, Sandy. I do miss the coast, even though I usually went to Galveston. Not really pretty, but could be photogenic, and it does have waves and sand.

Nice composition, though I'd like to see a little more space to the left of the frame. With the bird facing that way, the crop is just a little too tight. If the birds were looking toward the right, this one would have worked out just fine. I like your use of vertical and horizontal lines in the frame to lead the viewer's eye in and around. It looks like you used a little too much dodging on his shadows, as I can see some pixelation and odd highlights. Nice work meeting the challenge, and the title plays well with this one. I like that you gave him a name, thus sharing a little more of his life with us. This adds a great deal of interest and emotion to the image. Strong work, just work on the post-processing a little more.

Love this! I passed many workers today and wanted to get my camera out but was unfortunately in too much of a hurry. I love the white smoke/dust/water all around him and he just stands right out in it all with his bright colors and look of concentration.

Wonderful capture! I like to photograph construction workers, too. In fact, my shot for today was inspired by the workers in the foreground. Something elemental about this shot of yours. Awesome.
